Need some info on the Picco .28 Modded Engine

I would like to put a Picco .28 Modded Engine in one of my Savage Xls and was wondering if i would have to make any modifications to the Clutch bell, spur gear, motor mounts or any other changes to the xl. I'm a noob at this so any help from you guys would be very helpful.

What would i have to do to keep the 3 speed from poping?

i think he meant like "kick butt" "rip" "be sick". He runs 3 speed on his if I'm not mistaken modified. I don't think he was talking negative at all.

Just run it a little on the rich side, your tranny should be fine.

ok, i understand what he"s talking about now!!! Thanks hypnotiq and Bankrupter, great info. I'm 57 years old and can hardly keep up with you whipper snappers.:bigsmilie:

I did the final drive gear cant take a ERCM picco 28 at full tune. Just don't run it all out on Hi bite surfaces and they last
