Hop up advice

I need some advice on hop ups for my two savage xls.
Sellers beware. I'm loaded with $$$$$$$$ lowest bider wins. LOL

I recomend:

1. RSC
2. Bigbore shocks
3. Mid tank
4. Picco .28 ERCM modded (don't have one myself but it is on the x-mass list)
5. Fioroni twin turbo sliding clutch
6. A wing (It looks cool and does away with the need for a rollbar)
7. 2.4ghz radio
8. Good dig. servos.

Thats just a few if you still need me to spend some of your money let me know.

thats a good list pope. i loved the FLM extended lower center fo gravity tvp kit and associated goodies. you wont need better dog bones the ones you have now rock.

my advice is to make a word doc list of things you like on peeps savages with prices. then read the forums and decide how you want your savage to run, ride, handle, look.

if your gonna make big mods like mid-tank & stuff, your best bet is to consider new tvps, like Platinum R/C, FLM, IRC.

The TVP's are a good starting point forgot to mention them.

One other thing that is a must upgrade don't know if you have it or not but a motor saver filter.

the lst shocks are also heavier than big bores and require a few other parts to be able to run them. and as for a mill any .28 will rock the .30's or bigger imho just eat more fuel unless your wanting to make a puller but but even at that you can still make a killer pulling truck with a .28. just my .02

The lst shocks will give you nothing but headachs and after you buy all the needed stuff for them they are not cheeper. You will also be better of with a .28 than a .30 or bigger. The .28 will turn higher rpms and spool up faster making for a quicker overall truck. Also for the cost of the O.S. you can buy two lrp .28's

No, not yet. It"s showing he has two in stock and I'm about to pull the triger but I'm wondering what type of fly wheel, clutch bell and shoes i will need and also if i will need another motor mount ?
