Well, as all of you who have been following my MId-Tank Build I have got a nosram RS 28 Evo as my mill.
Here's some Pics:
As you can see, looks a lot like the lrp below...
Sleeve looks like an LRP too...
The only thing My untrained eyes can see is the head has two machened 'chunks' out of either side, but the LRP has three...Instructions are identical, just LRP substituted with Nosram...
It works out around £132 best price over here, best price I can find on a new Lrp is £160...£28 saving, not to be sniffed at.
I've only run four tanks through it, stripped it to take the pictures before runnning it in, and as soon as I get some steering servo gears (Yes, I thought the non servo-saver that came with the truck would be ok...Nope!) and servo saver steering I'll get this thing tuned. Even running it in, it has some squirt, but my comparison is to a k46. One question, is it worth having a bit of a polish when it's broken in? The marks on the sleeve in the pictures are in fact oil/grease, not scratches, allthough the button has a few not scuffs, but not a mirror...Is it worth it? I won't be playing with port timing, but would like peoples' views.
Will update with a vid as soon as I get access to an open car park...
